The Paul Lewis Animal Welfare Trust was recently founded by Paul Bruce to commemorate his longtime friend while giving something back.

Paul Bruce said: “Paul Lewis was a remarkable man.

“So respected in the local music scene and always behind good causes. He passed away in 2021 and left a big void in our lives, so a few of us have been talking about creating something in his name.

“We started the Paul Lewis Animal Welfare Trust to raise money for animals through fundraising activities and of course music came into play.”

He continued, “There are going to be some great bands and a chance to win some great prizes, so it’s definitely worth coming.

“To reissue our 2days2nights special edition album is a very touching thing to do in his memory and again it will be to raise money for animals through music. »

The reissue 2days2nights album by The Groove Project is described as a mix of funk, rock and soul, with some Red Hot Chili Peppers-stylish riffs and basslines, and features the highly talented quartet for the first time in many years.

The album’s charity relaunch is hailed as an extremely fitting tribute by the band, especially as it will be raising funds for a Paul cause.

Paul Bruce (in the photo below) added, “It brings back so many memories listening to the album again after so many years.

“It brings tears of joy listening to the great music we’ve created, but also tears of sadness listening to Paul’s bass and realizing he’s no longer with us.

Globe Wirral:

“We will be selling the album at the event on Saturday and the live music featured will be top notch.
