Sometimes it’s best to dive headfirst into something new without testing the waters.
Sanchez Studios, a new music lesson studio in Eau Claire located at 1235 Menomonie St., opened Nov. 1 and offers lessons in violin, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, ukulele, and vocals.
Violin owner and teacher Isaiah Sanchez is pursuing his dream of a musical career earlier than most. Sanchez recently graduated from Chippewa Falls Senior High School and has no intention of following in the footsteps of many of his peers, he said, who chose college over entering. immediately on the labor market.

“I thought it would be more profitable to get into the industry right away,” Sanchez said. “I didn’t want to pour a lot of money into the school instead of just fulfilling my dream of making music a career.”
Having played the violin for the past seven years and the piano for the past five years, Sanchez intends to offer a wide variety of instrumental options for beginning musicians to participate in Sanchez Studios, with the help of two additional instructors.
And sharing his love for music has reinvigorated his love for the art form, especially when he sees new students’ love for music blossom as they learn popular holiday tunes.
“I really love music and I want my students to enjoy it too,” Sanchez said. “It shouldn’t feel like a chore. It’s not something you have to force yourself to do for 30 minutes a day. I love seeing my students get excited about music and learning to love it like me.
While Sanchez is still learning the ropes of the Chippewa Valley music scene, the opening of Sanchez Studios is the first step for the young musician in his pursuit of writing, producing and performing tunes at full-time.
