A new start for Lovelyz’s Kei!
Kei, a former member of the charming girl group Lovelyz, begins another chapter of her career by joining a new agency.
On January 10, entertainment agency Palm Tree Island revealed that Kei had officially signed an exclusive contract with them. “We have signed an exclusive contract with Kei, the lead singer of Lovelyz, who has been loved by fans for her strong skills and innate charisma. After a long and careful discussion, we have confirmed her endless potential. We will bring all our support in the future to add strength to it. We ask for your interest and support for Kei, who announced a new beginning as a musical actress.
In 2014, Kei debuted as the lead singer of Lovelyz. Among their group’s hit songs were “Ah-Choo”, “Hi~”, “Now, We”, and “Destiny (My Earth)”. Additionally, she has participated in various dramatic OSTs such as KBS2’s Oh my VenusMBC lucky romance and Ruler – Master of the MaskSBS’ Dignity of the Empressand JTBC Run onproving his unique presence with an appealing voice and tone.
In addition, she gifted fans with her solo album AGAIN AND AGAIN and made his debut on the music scene through Thirties in 2017. In 2021, she starred in the musical Midnight Sun. This year, she will play the role of Guinevere for the musical Excalibur at the Sejong Center from January 29.
Palm Tree Island is an agency created by Kim Junsu of JYJ last November. It is home to musical artists such as Kim So Hyun, Jung Sun Ah, Jin Tae Hwa, and Yang Seo Yoon.
