I’m doing everything to be a successful musician but I still can’t breathe – Rapper Awal’s lamentations | General entertainment

After his standout appearance in the first edition of Talented Kidz on TV3 in 2010, Ghanaians expected Mohammed Awal to become a successful musician, especially when he worked with rapper Sarkodie on songs such as Keep Feeling It and Bone Ben.

However, that didn’t happen and he struggled to find his footing, much to the disappointment of those who supported him.

After many concerns expressed by people, Awal, who is still finding his bearings in the music industry, says he is not god for getting “blown”.

“I know Ghanaians expect me to ‘blow’ but if I was God I would have been ‘blown’ a long time ago but I’m not God to do that. It’s not like if I wasn’t working I’m really doing everything I can to be a successful musician, but I guess at the right time it will happen in a big way,” he told Graphic Showbiz.

When asked what he was doing, Awal replied that he was busy with school but now ready for music. “I had to take some time off to focus on my studies but now I am ready for music. I have a lot of singles and I will be giving more music to Ghanaians this year,” he said .

Although he didn’t have it easy, Awal said he believed that by being consistent and producing good music, he could break through.

“I believe that with consistency, I can still do it. It’s only a matter of time and everything will fall into place. I don’t have to give up what I love to do which is music, I just have to line up with people in the media and get some money to push my music that I’m currently working on “, did he declare.

Awal asked Ghanaians not to see him as the young boy who participated in Talented Kidz a few years ago, but as someone who has matured.

“I’m mature now and making mature music. I just want Ghanaians to pay attention to my music and know that I have a lot to give,” he said.
