If you like celebrities, you might be in luck because Rick Springfield is stuck. That’s right, instead of being in West Virginia tonight for her next show, Mother Nature decided to keep it in Portland, Maine.
I wonder where he’s having dinner tonight? I wonder what hotel he and his band are honored at? Did you know he has an amazing sense of humor?
Rick and his band performed at Tupelo Music Hall in Derry, New Hampshire on Thursday night, February 24, just when Mother Nature decided to end our random, spring-like February days and bring back winter.
I was browsing Instagram doing this purge thing with accounts I’m not following right now when Rick’s IG popped up in my feed. And no, of course, his account is not on my unsubscribe list.
Fans, of course, took to the comments:
These things happen, the most important thing is that you stay safe! But TBH if a hippo sneezes in the area it will stop the USPS
They even discussed where to eat. I know he likes seafood because I saw him in Beaver Creek, Colorado (where I slapped his butt and clapped his hands as he walked across the top of our seats), and he rented a whole sushi restaurant after his concert.
Go eat lobster. Lots of great seafood restaurants in Portland. Also great steamers, chowder, fried clams etc.
Other fans pointed out that they have guest rooms:
OMG can you stay at my house
Rick and his group are heading to Huntington, New York tomorrow on Long Island before heading to the Pacific Northwest and the weather is looking great.
