Nigerian singer Wizkid, song Essence and album Made in Lagos no win Grammy for the 64th edition of the musical ceremony.
Essence, we see Wizkid feature Tems and Justin Bieber for songs topping many global charts, bin dey for nomination in the Best Global Music Performance category.

Wizkid real name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, Nigerian singer and songwriter.
He is also known as Wizzy or Starboy and is one of Africa’s greatest entertainers.
Wizkid started recording music at an early age and managed to release a collaborative album with di Glorious Five, a band I follow and a couple of friends from church.
He became popular after the release of “Holla at Your Boy”, the lead single from his debut studio album Superstar (2011).
“Tease Me/Bad Guys”, “Don’t Dull”, “Love My Baby”, “Pakurumo”, and “Oluwa Lo Ni” are also singles from the Superstar album.
For 2016, Wizkid is gaining international recognition after collaborating with Drake on the worldwide hit “One Dance”.
